Let's get you back to doing the things that you love!
Hi, I'm Caeden (she/her)
I am a chiropractor in Courtenay, BC with a passion for movement and health.
My aim is to help make sense of your pain and come up with personalized strategies to manage it. I prioritize fostering a safe and open space while working with you to achieve your goals. My practice focuses on creating long-term solutions that will help you feel happy, healthy and confident.
I value an evidenced-based approach consisting of education, movement strategies, and hands-on therapy to empower you to take control of your health.
With a special interest in prenatal/postpartum care and women's health, I am dedicated to changing the narrative that pregnancy means constant aches and pains. I believe that pregnancy and the postpartum period does not have to mean losing yourself to your body.
I love what I do and I am excited to hear your story. In my clinic, everyone is welcome!
Dr. Caeden grew up playing many competitive sports in Ontario. She graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Science with Honours Specialization in Kinesiology.
She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she participated in a chiropractic outreach to the Dominican Republic, where she served the local communities.
Out of the clinic, you can find Caeden soaking up the outdoor playground of the Comox Valley, trying to perfect homemade sourdough, lifting weights at her local gym or spending time with her family and friends.

Movement and exercise play an important part in my practice. I believe the key to a happy body and mind is to stay active.
Being in pain does not mean you have to give up the activities you love. Whether your goal is to run a marathon, garden under the sun, or play with your grandkids on the floor, my role is to support you in getting there.
Together, we will find ways of incorporating meaningful exercise into your everyday life so that you can manage your pain while staying active and move with confidence. Feeling strong, empowered and in control of your body is a special thing - let's get you feeling your best!
Chiropractic care goes beyond just 'cracking the back.' With a thorough assessment of your body's movement and function, we will work together to find ways to manage your pain. Appointments are tailored to your specific goals and needs through a combination of adjustments, soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, exercise rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications.
Helping you feel your best is my main priority, so that you can get back to doing the things you love!
COMMON CONDITIONS TREATED:
Shoulder or rotator cuff injuries
Upper/mid back and rib pain
Low back pain and sciatica
Elbow and wrist pain
Jaw (TMJ) pain
PRENATAL & POSTPARTUM CARE
As your babe and bump grow throughout pregnancy, the shifts in posture, centre of gravity, and hormones can contribute to pain. Chiropractic care can provide relief during and after pregnancy. Safe and gentle hands-on therapy (including the Webster technique), therapeutic exercises, kinesiotape, and at-home movement strategies are used to care for you while you care for your little one.
Whether you are in pain from growing a tiny human, dealing with aches from feeding postures, or returning to running postpartum, I am here to support you through this transition to parenthood.
Aches and pains are universal for all parents and caregivers - everyone is welcome here!
COMMON PRENATAL & POSTPARTUM CONDITIONS:
Return to exercise/activity postpartum
Low back or pelvic girdle pain
De Quervain's tenosynovitis
Neck pain and headaches
Upper back and rib pain
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Pubic symphysis pain
Chiropractic care for babies looks a lot different than it does for adults and older children.
Treatments are safe and gentle - the pressure used to release tension and improve mobility is similar to checking the ripeness of an avocado.
Pediatric care provides support for your baby's joints, muscles and nervous system to keep them happy and comfortable as their growing bodies develop. In addition to the hands-on therapy, a large portion of the appointment is spent discussing exercises, modifications, and movements that you, as parents, can do with your little one.
COMMON PEDIATRIC ISSUES SUPPORTED THROUGH CARE:
Lack of mobility, movement or muscle tone
Torticollis or head direction preferences
Developmental milestone check-ins
Latching or feeding difficulties
Irritability in certain positions
Orthotics are custom devices that support and protect the feet while maintaining normal positioning of the ankles, knees, and hips. Whether you're a snowboarder catching the first lift up, someone who spends long hours on their feet, or just looking for a little extra comfort, orthotics can be a game-changer.
ORTHOTICS CAN HELP WITH:
Flat feet (or arch support)
Chronic low back pain
Foot and heel pain
Knee or hip pain
I respectfully acknowledge that I provide care on the unceded, traditional territory of the K'ómoks First Nation in the Comox Valley of British Columbia. I want to say thank you for allowing me to live, work, and play on your lands.
